I attended the 2014 Bell Teacher Campus in Macau from July 14thto July 19th. Before going there , I just thought it was an ordinary learning experience with no expectation just like before. But what I have seen and experienced totally changed my mind. Every day, I was busy with workshops ,cultural talks and the most important main courses. All the courses and teachers riched me and gave a lot of enlightenments. The teachers there are so energetic ,dedicated and passionate for what they are doing, especially those who are in their 50s or 60s, such as David Hill. David Hill gave us two lessons. One was about writing, the other was the problems we nonnative teachers often met. He emphasized six writing secrets of which No.1 is more is less, less is more; the second one is warm up; then, it is the best writing instructor cannot teacher poor readers; the next is style secret; after that it is discovery secret; the last but not the least is writhing promotes clearer, better thinking. What David impressed me most was his classroom management. He is truly an expert in managing the whole class and also getting all the members excited, I think. In his class, we all couldn’t stop laughing from the bottom of our hearts. All this is worth learning by us. They experts keep learning every day, let alone us. I really got a lot from it and I can’t wait for the next trip.
